Art Journaling with Anna

- Most sessions will take place online via Zoom but we also hope that a couple of these will take place in a park or at the beach so we can take inspiration from the natural environment.
Why art journaling?
An art journal, or artist’s journal, is a place to record your thoughts, feelings and creative ideas in a visual way. Often combining both images and text, your journal will be personal to you, reflecting your style, tastes, thoughts and experiences.
Slow down, explore, experiment while connecting with new people.
Giving yourself time to work on your journal can be a helpful way to find focus and relaxation. This course will give you the opportunity to try different creative techniques, get absorbed in art making and have fun.
You will be using basic art materials and a range of papers, including scrap paper and stuff from your recycling; be prepared to rummage!
Some materials will be provided but others you will need to provide yourself, e.g. pencils, scissors, ruler.

Do you need help to take part?
To make these workshops as inclusive to as many people as we can please let us know any access needs you have when you sign up, and how we can help you to take part.
This might include regular reminders about sessions, support getting onto Zoom, a phone call to explain what to expect before we get started, or a discussion about how you prefer to communicate. If you have a key worker or need support staff, they are welcome to join our sessions to support you to take part.
