How We Use Your Data

Part of what we do involves processing personal data so we do this in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  When handling your data we will:

  • store your information securely
  • only store it for as long as we need to
  • ensure that only those appropriate have access to it
  • only use it for the purposes for which you provided it to us.

Data includes: your personal details; artefacts made by you; images and audio of you; writing about you; and anything you have collaborated on with CoCreate Dorset CIC on which your name is visible.

If you have participated in a CoCreate project we will keep your contact details for 12 months after the completion of the project and then safely discard them.  For ongoing monitoring and research purposes we will anonymise relevant data that we need to keep.

If you have agreed for us to keep your data for potential future projects and/or have signed up to our mailing list and newsletter we will keep your details until you ask us to dispose of them, or until the closing up of CoCreate, whichever is the sooner.
